In March we met up at Don and Louis's new home and garden in the hills north of San Antonio. The home is nestled onto of a hill and has fabulous views and there is a large yard to boot! Most of the acreage is xeriscaped and that helps with maintaining a large yard. They are now in the phase of palm planting, with selective hardy palms.

After a delicious lunch, we had a presentation by a Master Gardener on xeriscaping with native plants. Afterwards we had a short society meeting and then folks enjoyed visiting one another and the garden and home. We look forward to coming back in a couple ears and seeing how the garden is developing.

The next meeting will be on April 18, 2015 hosted by Gary Smith & Fernando Coronado in San Benito

Hope to see you there!
