Our June 2011 meeting was at the beautiful home and garden of Jon and Suzi Watson on the Island in Corpus Christi. The weather couldn't have been better for the meeting as early morning showers gave way to clear skies with a gentle breeze coming of the shores of the Gulf. Members toured the garden upon arrival as well as socialized with one another. Before long lunch was being served and per the norm, our hosts went all out and the variety and selection of food was wonderful.

After lunch was served, guests enjoyed a variety of desserts and we enjoyed a short society meeting. During the meeting a variety of topics were covered to include a possible future palm planting project at a local court house, treasury report and future meetings. Once the meeting concluded members retreated to the deck and enjoyed the wonderful weather and view.
