Bamboo gardens On July 19, approximately 35 PSST members and guests, including six from the Houston area, met at the large Caldwell Nursery in Rosenberg . The meeting was hosted by Chuck and Cay Dee Caldwell , and co-hosted by Ken Gutowsky who was in charge of the delicious Mexican lunch and drinks. For mid-July the weather was most co-operative with relatively pleasant temperatures. We met for lunch and the meeting in the Bamboo Garden section of the nursery.

After everyone was sufficiently filled with Mexican food and cookies, the usual business meeting was conducted by president Jon Watson. Then it was time to tour the expansive nursery. Around four o’clock people began to leave for their homes, many loaded down with plants and flowers.

The next meeting will be held at the home of Curtis and Marsha Attaway in Aransas Pass on August 23.

Hope to see you there!
