Welcome to Val & Suzanne Champion's in San Benito co-hosted by the Ayers

the 3 amigos

On July 9, a very hot day, approximately 50 PSST members and guests gathered at a new venue—the home of Val and Suzanne Champion. The meeting was co-hosted by Ed and Mary Ayers of Brownsville. The Champions’s home is located on a beautiful resaca in Edgewater Isle, a subdivision between San Benito and Los Fresnos. Our generous hosts provided a delicious Mexican lunch with various tacos and side dishes. Members brought an impressive array of salads and desserts. The yard is beautifully landscaped with a curving front drive among the palms. Despite the oppressive heat, members enjoyed the wonderful lunch, which was followed by a brief business meeting. Tours of the yard were conducted before members departed for their homes.
