This month our society meeting was co-hosted by John and Mary Barkkari and Billy and Delana Darling of Stuart Place nursery. Members showed up at the Barkkari's home and garden at high noon for our traditional luncheon and society meeting. Members enjoyed a wonderful lunch put on by the Barkkari's on the patio while enjoying the wonderful south Texas sunshine. After lunch Chairman Jon Watson held a brief society meeting, per the norm the treasury report, up coming meetings and new business were covered.

After the meeting ended the society picked up and moved a couple miles down the road to Stuart Place Nursery. Here members enjoyed viewing the nice selection of palms and plants for sale, at this historic valley nursery. We thank both the Barkkari's and Darling's for their generosity in hosting this month's meeting.
