huge drive way leads to garage and a spectacular view A new venue in the form of a home and garden awaited our members this month. Don and Louis purchased a new home on the northern end of San Antonio and it has a grand view of the hills north of the city as well as a beautiful golf course. With the large parcel of land and it's drastic elevation changes in terrain, Don and Louis opted to xeriscape

After lunch, members gathered around to listen to Sir Oliver Smith, a Master Gardener, speaking on Xeriscaping and Wildscaping. His presentation was very interesting and filled with magnificent plant slide show and hand-outs. Everyone found the presentation to very informative.

When the meeting was adjourned, members resumed their socializing as well as tour of the large yard and the new home. The next meeting will be held at the home of Barry and Georgina Putegnat in Brownsville.
